Happy New Year! This fun little card just kind of fell together this afternoon. I just love when that happens. I entered this in the Lawn Fawn Challenge #139. For this Happy New Year theme, I wanted to show a mouse lifting up the number 3 in 2023 and another mouse carrying away the number 2. I created a night sky, using the Lawn Fawn Nighttime Sky stencil with Distress Oxide Inks in, Stormy Sky, Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire, Squeezed Lemonade and Fossilized Amber. I cut
Gosh, I don't know about you but sometimes I just need to make a few cards in a hurry. I have found that the best way to do this is to use patterned paper and matching ephemera. For this project, I used Simple Stories Mix And A-Mingle 6 x 8 Paper Pad and Mix And A-Mingle Bits and Pieces. Oh my goodness, what a holly jolly ride! I created this card from Simple Stories - Mix & A-Mingle Collection. When I was shopping the collection, this fun little chipboard van jumped right out at me and I absolutely had to do a card with it as the main focus. I also used the Merry Christmas chipboard pieces from the same collection which made it all the quicker. This just might be my favorite Christmas card this season! Thanks for stopping by!
I love the lodge look of Simply Stories - Simple Vintage Lodge Collection. I think my favorite pattern from the 6" x 8" paper pad is the red, green and black plaid. I also really like the pieces from Simply Stories - Simple Vintage Lodge Collection - Ephemera - Bits and Pieces. Even though there is a smaller version of the Santa on this card included with the Bits and Pieces pack, I wanted to make the Santa the focal point on my card. So I fussy cut him out of the patterne
I created this card for Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #138. I had never participated in a Card Sketch challenge before, so it took me a little bit of time to figure out what I wanted the do. I wanted to have the upper card of the card to be bold but still allow the sentiment be the main focus. I looked through the Lawn Fawn store and unfortunately the only die that I had in my collection that would work, was the Stitched Poinsettia. I cut my poinsettias out of Guava cardstock
All together now............Deck The Forest With Boughs of Holly. Fa la la la la .......la la la la ! Check out these mice working together to hang a bow on the wreath. I used mice from Lawn Fawns Mice on Ice and Snowball Fight. When I started setting them up, I wasn't sure if I wanted the mouse on the top reaching to hang a bow or a mouse stretching to lift the wreath, so I stamped both. The copic markers I used are as follows; I inked the small part of the background wit
