For Unto Us A Child Is Born

Hello friends! I love gnomes. Not all gnome though....I am not very fond of ones where you can see their eyes unless they are super cute but those are few and far between.

My favorite gnome stamps are from Trinity Stamps. Their little gnomes have the most personality. When I saw the new Gnometivity Stamp Set and the Good Tidings Stamp Set, I just had to have them. I had so much fun coloring them. At first I thought that the Baby Jesus was my favorite because you could see his little feet and toes but then the Shepherd is sporting a vest and scarf along with his braided beard. But what about those handsome Three Kings? So in a nutshell, I guess I don't have a favorite. All the coloring was done with Copic markers. My backgrounds are Ranger Distress Oxides.

For the stamp sets that I know I am going to use multiple times or if I have used a color combinations that I like, I like to keep a record of what colors I use. Mona Toth has a download for a worksheet that I use to do that. You can go to her website, www.craftbymona.info to download blank copies. I run them off on the paper I use to do my blending to get a good representation of what I did.

I hope you enjoy these little friends as much as I do and maybe be inspired to make a few cards of your own.

Thanks for stopping by and as always, I hope you have a great day!!!!!!

Sandy
