Ghostly Greeting

Hello! Happy last day of August. We are officially entering the "ber:" months.

I got my Lawn Fawn order this afternoon with the new release product. Yay!!! It took me a little while to catalog and put everything away, but I still had a little bit of time to create this card.

I inked the background with Seedless Preserve and Villainous Potion Distress Oxide using the Brick Stencil. To add some shimmer, I sprayed it with some Tim Holtz Spray Mica in Hocus Pocus. I cut out the window using the Secret Window die. I used a lime green glitter paper and trimmed out all the little flowers and leaves so I just had the window frame left. For the background in the window, I used the Cloudy Stencil with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide on Peacock cardstock. I speckled the paper with some watered down black watercolor paint.

The little ghosts are from the Tiny Gift Box Ghost Add On. I cut my little friends from Pixie Dust cardstock. The little lantern in his hand is from the Build a Campsite. I thought that he really needed to have something in his hand and that was all I could come up with. I used scrap pieces of glitter paper for their little bows and cheeks. I used the dies from Build A House Halloween Add On and the Scalloped Treat Box Haunted House Add On for the bats. The stars are from the Hearts and Stars Skinny Tag.

The lettering is Henry's ABC's. I would have loved to have added an "S" to the word "greeting" but I just couldn't get it to fit. Sometimes you just have to go with it. I cut them from Fake Tan cardstock and did a little inking with Ripe Persimmon Distress Oxide to add a little dimension.

I put the little ghosts on action wobblers so they would jiggle.

This was such a fun card to make. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have an amazing day!

Sandy
