Hello! Oh my goodness, this has been a month! I haven't had much of a chance to make cards until this past weekend. While I am patiently waiting for my order from the new Lawn Fawn Fall and Winter release, I decided to play with some of my older Halloween stamp sets and the Platform Pop Up Die for the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #155- Create a 3-D Card or Project.
For this card, I wanted to use the How You Bean? Halloween Add On and I wanted to be able to use the whole sentiment. The problem was that I couldn't fit it all on the little front panel on the base, so I decided to add it into the pop up elements. In order to give the card a little excitement, I used acetate strips to individual pieces of candy corn to give them the appearance of floating. It still felt a little flat, so I tied a piece of twine around the neck of the jar to give it a little more dimension and interest. The "Happy Halloween" sentiment is from Spooktacular. The candy corn around the base of the platform, is from Simply Celebrate Fall.
This was a fairly quick card to make and it only required a few different sets to make it.
